Ondra Bach and his team of mobile games developers discover a new dimension of entertainment. Teamed up with Jakub Kučera and Honza Galgonek, the fascination by the VR technology leads the group to create their first VR game, intended for home use. Jakub comes up with the idea for Blue Effect VR, while Honza secures the financial background for the new company.
DIVR Labs is starting its operations. Working on their debut, Blue Effect VR, brings along a change in perspective - it is the location-based VR, or so-called LBVR, that is starting to earn the spotlight on the VR scene. That means developing games that take place in an arena and in which the content of the game copies the physical surroundings. The greatest advantage of LBVR is its impact onall human senses, provided by both the 4D headset and the possibility of a free roam within a larger area. DIVR Labs is joined by Martin Tichota who contributes technological skills essential for LBVR.
Switching the focus to LBVR paid off. We are launching Golem VR, a game situated in the arena built within Prague's The Playground toy store. The story of medieval Prague where people get to bring the powerful Golem to life and become heroes of a famous legend, is an enormous success. In a single year, Golem is revived by 60 thousand players and we are celebrating. Golem is awarded the Czech game of 2018.
We are developing a new action game Arachnoid, characterized by a more intense cooperation of the player with their surroundings and co-players, as well as alternative endings to the story. This proves our theory that VR works better with game dramaturgy than cinematic language. Our game Golem VR is nominated in “The best location-based entertainment” category of the international VR Awards competition.
We are introducing a new title - Meet the Dinosaurs VR, opening a new franchise in Premium Outlet Prague, as well as our own arena in Dubai. The concept of arena is unified and defined so that in the future, the visitors in all the venues can play any game from our production. The promising start of an expansion is brought to a halt by the covid-19 pandemics and leaves us with a simple goal - to survive in a safe mode.
Meet the Dinosaurs VR is nominated in the category “The best location-based entertainment” of the international VR Awards contest. Thanks to the current investors led by Honza Galgonek, DIVR Labs survives the worst. Our CEO Lukáš Marek jumps on the opportunity of a lifetime - to build a global lovebrand in a new type of entertainment.
We are gaining investment of millions of Euros from EC Investments, led by Daniel Křetínský and Patrik Tkáč. We are not wasting any time and preparing to open new venues in London and Stockholm. The creative studio renews its intensive work on new content. Although LBVR remains the priority, the new content also allows for its home use.

Wow, £35 to£45 dino works or zombie apocalypse. A VR maze so fun for kids and adults. Lovely people work here and I feel the love and was made so welcome.

It was a fantastic experience, the kids loved it, and the staff were very friendly especially Tomas and Daniel. very safe environment, we left the kids with Tomas as they were playing and we came back and kids were very happy. thank you very much Tomas, we recommend everyone to come over and have a great time.
Me and my son do the "Last Stand" really fun experience as both of us were comparing stats, 25 minutes just flew. My only observation is that I felt it's a little bit on the pricey side, at £45pp for just 25 minutes. Definitely would have gone 2 or 3 times easily if it was a bit cheaper. But other than that, we really enjoyed it. Will definitely come back.

An amazing experience, well worth doing. The way the VR world was integrated into the real one was done very well, walls and railings in VR are 'real', for example. I have to drop a star, due to minor tracking issues, and glitches during when I guess it is loading the next area. This should absolutely NOT put anyone off from doing it, however. My family all enjoyed it and will be going back!
Took my son and his friends for 9th birthday party. They all loved it. The guys running it where great and really good with the kids. It’s quite expensive but my son and friends absolutely loved . The smiles (plus screaming) makes it good value.

Incredible gaming experience Tyler did a wonderful job in catering to our needs and created a pleasurable environment that made us really feel that the event was worth our money The whole gaming experience as a whole was very good. One notation would perhaps to upgrade lens quality to headset.

Unexpected amazing visit while shopping with friends. Very helpful staff, great value for money compared to other VR experiences. The free roaming is nothing like I have experience before and graphics were amazing. A must do when in Westfield next.
Great experience. Staff were friendly and welcoming. The experience itself was better than expected. I honestly thought it would just be a room and that’s all however it’s structured with walls and features to make the experience really immersive. Had tons of fun with my girlfriend and definitely made some memories. Would recommend to everyone. The game itself can be a little confusing at first but it’s simple once you get the hang of it. Absolutely brilliant experience. Sweeping panoramics, vibrations, heat from the lava, and a multitude of other effects made this all too real. Highly recommended.
Hosted my daughter's 8th birthday party at Divr Labs London. We rented entire venue out for the party. Tomáš and his staff were incredible!! Well organized, attentive and knowledgeable staff helped all the children with setup and instructions. Kids were absolutely thrilled with the two VR experiences.
